Jurnal Transformasi Sosial Nusantara (JTSN) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing all forms of publication malpractice. This statement is based on internationally recognized ethical principles, particularly the guidelines developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
Authors must present their research findings honestly, accurately, and objectively, without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation. Manuscripts submitted to JTSN must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given through appropriate citation. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as co-authors, while others may be acknowledged appropriately. Authors must also disclose any sources of funding and potential conflicts of interest.
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published based on their academic merit, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and the reviewers’ recommendations. Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished materials for personal research. In cases of conflict of interest, editors should recuse themselves from handling the manuscript.
Peer reviewers assist editors in evaluating the scholarly quality of manuscripts through an objective and constructive review process. Reviewers must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share or use the information contained within them for personal advantage. Reviews should be conducted professionally, with clear arguments and evidence-based recommendations. Reviewers should notify the editor of any substantial similarity between the manuscript under review and other published works. Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
The decision to publish a manuscript is based on its scholarly validity, significance, originality, and relevance to the journal’s readership. Editors may consult with reviewers and members of the editorial board in making final decisions.
Editors and reviewers must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisors, or the publisher, as appropriate.
All participants in the publication process must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation or evaluation of the manuscript.
Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards and, where appropriate, be approved by a recognized ethics committee.
JTSN does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, falsification, or other unethical practices. Allegations of misconduct will be investigated in accordance with established procedures. Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards may be rejected, and published articles may be corrected or retracted.
If significant errors or ethical issues are identified after publication, the journal will issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern as necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
JTSN supports open access to scholarly knowledge for the advancement of education, research, and social development, while respecting authors’ rights and applicable licensing policies.
